The Importance of Mentoring

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Last Sunday we looked at the importance of leaving a spiritual inheritance. We examined the lives of a few men and how what they did and did not do affected the next generation. We also looked at how we as Gateway Christians are to seek ways to look and affect several generations beyond our own. This week we are going to examine some more practical ways that men and women are called to invest in the generations after us. So, this week the big picture gets more personal. I pray that you will be ready to receive and allow the Lord to show the practical changes that He wants to make in our lives by giving and receiving from other generations. I look forward to seeing you this Sunday. Love you.
