We Must Pray!

The definition of the word must: It means to be obligated to or something that cannot be overlooked. That is why I used the word must in the title. I believe whole-heartedly that this statement is a profound life-changing truth. Scripture says:

Be unceasing and persistent in prayer; in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:1-18 (Amplified version) “So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.” James 1:21-22 (NLV).

So, here are the facts. God loves us. His heart is for us. He has plans for us that go far beyond our fleshy capabilities. He desires to reveal His purposes, His character and infuse us with His spirit so that we can see and discern with a spiritual mindset. This mindset is counterculture to this world. Satan will attack and deceive us by any means necessary to keep us relying, discerning, and trusting in our own intellect, wisdom and ways. It could be tragedy or bliss. Whatever works to keep us hunkered down in self, that is what he will use. I have spent a lot of time before the Lord regarding this message and will continue to spend much more time before Him; so, that I may be completely yielded before Him as we hear Him speak this Sunday. I know my Lord delivers, heals, breaks, convicts, and reveals Himself through His glorious supernatural personhood. This is what I am expecting this Sunday. I pray that you all will join me as we prepare to hear and see God though this important message on prayer. I love you all. I truly do.

Sincerely,

Pastor Michael
